“Embrace Your Pause Journey: A Empowering Passage to Feminine Wisdom and Community”

A Wilding Women’s Retreat honoring the transitions of perimenopause, menopause, and postmenopause.

This Wilding Women’s Retreat is focused on empowering your journey with menopause, recognizing this phase as a transformative invitation. Our time together in Nature intertwines a supportive community of other women to shift the narrative from viewing menopause (peri/pause/post) as a curse to recognizing it as a significant life transition with the potential for growth and wisdom. The journey before, during, and after is a significant timeframe in a woman’s life to clarify who you are at your core, your values and purpose, and how to realign this next stage of your journey.

To help you feel prepared for this stage of your journey…

Grieving the person you thought you were with an invitation to who you are.

It’s time to experience:

  • Empowerment and reclamation

  • Holding light on the shame to shed and rewrite

  • Rite of passage

  • Community support where you can openly discuss your experiences, share stories, and find solidarity

  • Integration of internal and ancestral wisdom

  • Integration and honoring of grief as the path to growth

  • Menopause revolution where you redefine what this journey means for you and your impact on the community

This retreat is for you if you:

  • Want to sit with other women committed to personal growth

  • Crave a supportive community of women connecting during a major life transition

  • Want to shift the view around menopause to an empowering journey

  • Feel that aging is an invitation to transformation and a bigger impact

  • Want to engage with intention and embrace this life experience

  • Explore menopause as a time of transition - of entering the liminal space with ritual and ceremony - a rite of passage

  • Embrace feminine wisdom, recognizing the strength and softness that refutes the harsh edge of mainstream pause

  • Embrace the “pause life” - a moment to slow down, reflect, and be with your journey within a container of community

  • Be intentional about embracing changes and making meaningful choices to live a life more aligned with your purpose and joy

Retreat Facilitators

Nicole Jefferson - MA, LPCC, NCC

My most crucial long-term relationship has been with the great outdoors; my first therapist was Mother Nature. I have used my time in this mighty space to align the things that make my heartbeat: people, nature, the power of self-development, and a deep knowing of self-love. The outdoors is a powerful resource that helps us feel grounded and at peace, immersed in all Mother Nature offers. My approach is holistic, mindful-based, somatic, and authentic. My goal for people is to feel good in their skin and reach their true SELF potential. Wilding Women is an extension of the container I created within Wilding Therapy. My passion for helping women land in their power is where Wilding Women’s Retreats evolved from. Although I have yet to enter the sacred transition of the menopausal journey, I welcome this opportunity to help other women, no matter where you may be in this space, embrace this beautiful transformation of womanhood with love, grace, acceptance, and energy.

Tamara Yakaboski - PhD

Tamara Yakaboski is a resilience coach and consultant, climate practitioner, and impact strategist who helps folks continuously rebuild resilience within in order to serve our communities while being in right relationship with Nature.

Having experienced early menopause that started in my late 30s, I found myself without adequate preparation or mentorship. This Wilding Women’s retreat feels important to co-facilitate so that you can feel empowered and prepared for your transformational journey. Menopause has been and continues to be one of the greatest catalysts for my own radical change and transformation into more intentional and value-aligned life and work. I want this for everyone.

I have over two decades in research, adult education, and women’s leadership. I continue to expand with training in climate and health, creativity, somatic, and therapeutic interventions. I’ve published and presented my research worldwide, and I continue to build frameworks to implement via coaching and consulting that support individual and collective growth and development. My vision is to create community, co-learning, collaboration, and care that weaves feminism, depth psychology, mindfulness, mind-body (somatic) work, nature-based activities, and community impact for the collective good of Mama Earth.
